Today, Jan 5th 2009, we unveil the new WoosterGenerals.com Social Network. This will be a place where fans, parents, grandparents, friends, and all those in between, can come to interact with past, present and future Generals, and their fans.

Having a "White Out" at the next basketball game? Add it to the events for others to find out about, and then find out who RSVP'd to the Event. If there is something, or someone, that you think others would be interested in hearing about, you will be able to put it on-line, on the front page, for others to read about.

Hey Alumni, keep Generals fans up to date on what you are up to. Tell us how you are doing as you continue your athletic careers at college or maybe even the Pros.

Follow the Play-by-play of what the Community is doing. Then join in and become one of the team.

Think you have what it takes to be a writer? Well, now is your chance as others will be able to recommend your articles to others as a must read. Maybe you just want a place to meet up with Generals fans and friends, well, WoosterGenerals.com and the New Social Network is the place to do that. You can have the usual social network items like music, friends, comments and the likes on your profile page.

Want some privacy? You can control who can see what, even block certain users. Only want those in your network to see your posts or your photos? That is up to you, you control what others can see. You can even go Invisible, not be displayed in the online users list even if you are online.

Though the site is full of a lot of great Networking items, more features will be added as the site moves forward in the coming days and weeks. Come on in and make yourself at home, be a part of the ultimate high school athletic site around. Welcome to the WoosterGenerals.com Social Network.

Slow Summer and My Project

OK, Summers are always slow around here, and things heat up in early August, but I have been busy with a dormant project. I have wanted to do this project for 2 years, and I started the social part of WoosterGenerals.com to test my idea. Softball put things on a hold for a while, but now I got a lot of time and I am busy getting OhioFridayNightLights.com up and running.

Here is a screen shot....So, Wooster football fans can show their support of my project by signing up. It uses Facebook Connect to make the process easier, or go the old fashion way and enter the form.

They are not easy to view, they stop playing. I let it play out, then download the flash using RealPlayer, and viewed them. Just cool to be there, a few days later. Videos are from Flotrack
